Assistant Photographer

The key responsibility:

To assist photographer at photo shoots

• To get the equipment ready for a photo shoot; • To assist a photographer in setting up the equipment at in-studio photo shoots and in transporting to location photo shoots; • To gather all the necessary equipment before a photo shoot, to sort it over afterwards; • To assist a photographer in the course of a photo shoot by following his directions; • To insure safety of the studio equipment; • To insure high technical quality of images; • To analyze the stock photo market in order to grasp the basic work objectives and to be familiar with specific aspects of stock photography; • To take pictures by himself/herself, when necessary, of new potential models at in-studio test photo shoots; • To take part, when necessary, in a final selection of files to be uploaded; • To comply with all the standars of work established within the company including terms and conditions of cooperation with business partners.

• The knowledge of the English language: colloquial, at least Intermediate; • Working experience in photography, at least 1 year; • Working experience in outdoor photography, strictly required; • Working experience in setting up studio lightning and equipment is a plus; • Working experience in interior photography as a part of location shooting is a plus; • The know-how of setting up lightning, choosing a color scheme, composing a shot; • Self-discipline; • Vigor; • Commitment and responsibility; • Strong communication skills; • Diligence.
